Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct sets out the values, principles, and ethical standards that guide how NMC Soft operates as a company, how it interacts with its employees, clients, partners, suppliers, and the community, as well as our expectations for professional and responsible conduct.
Through this Code, we aim to ensure that our activity is carried out with integrity, transparency, respect, and responsibility, in accordance with applicable laws and the highest professional standards.
1. Our Mission
NMC Soft builds platforms, products, and digital solutions that help businesses grow and succeed in the digital era.
We work with talented people who have a growth mindset and a commitment to quality, to build solutions that empower our clients, improve how they operate, and contribute to achieving better results.
Our mission is grounded in the belief that technology, when built responsibly and used with a clear purpose, can create lasting value for businesses, people, and the community.
2. Purpose of the Code of Conduct
The purpose of this Code is to define the principles on which our way of working is based and to ensure that everyone who acts on behalf of NMC Soft behaves in a professional, honest, and responsible manner.
This Code applies to:
- NMC Soft employees;
- team members;
- the company's managers and representatives;
- collaborators;
- contractors;
- suppliers;
- business partners, when acting in connection with NMC Soft.
The matters covered in this Code are important to the company, its employees, clients, partners, and our professional reputation.

Good communication is essential for quality work and healthy professional relationships.
We communicate clearly, openly, and respectfully. We do not give unnecessary orders and we do not encourage harsh or unclear communication. Every request, question, or concern should be handled with attention and within a reasonable time.
We believe that good communication:
- builds trust;
- avoids misunderstandings;
- helps make better decisions;
- improves collaboration;
- strengthens relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners.
Communication with clients, colleagues, suppliers, and partners must always be professional, courteous, and constructive.
We act with integrity
Integrity is the foundation of the way we work.
We expect everyone who acts on behalf of NMC Soft to be honest, transparent, and accountable in their actions and decisions.
This includes avoiding any conduct that could harm the company's reputation, clients' interests, relationships with partners, or public trust.
We respect people
We believe that every person should be treated with dignity, respect, and fairness.
Our work environment does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, insults, unfair pressure, exclusionary behavior, or any other form of conduct that undermines a person's dignity.
We foster a professional, inclusive, and safe work environment where everyone can contribute freely and responsibly.
4. Compliance with laws and regulations
NMC Soft operates in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Albania, as well as ratified international acts relevant to its activity.
The rights of employees, collaborators, and members of the company are protected under the legislation in force, including, where applicable, the Labor Code, company law, personal data protection rules, occupational safety provisions, and other relevant acts.
We expect all individuals and parties who work with NMC Soft to comply with the laws that apply to them and to treat legal compliance as a minimum standard of conduct.
5. Professional conduct in the workplace
All employees, collaborators, and representatives of NMC Soft must act professionally in any situation where they act on behalf of the company.
This includes conduct:
- on company premises;
- while working remotely;
- in online communications;
- in client meetings;
- at business events;
- in relationships with partners and suppliers;
- in any context where the person represents NMC Soft.
Everyone is expected to be punctual, honest, transparent, cooperative, and careful in how they communicate and act.
6. Unacceptable behavior
NMC Soft does not tolerate behavior that undermines the dignity, safety, reputation, or proper functioning of the work environment.
Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:
- discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, belief, economic status, social status, family status, or any other basis protected by law;
- insults, offensive remarks, or demeaning communication;
- moral, verbal, physical, or sexual harassment;
- threats, pressure, or aggressive behavior;
- deliberately spreading false information;
- harming the reputation of the company, colleagues, clients, or partners;
- using company information for unauthorized personal gain;
- undeclared conflicts of interest;
- dishonest or fraudulent behavior;
- breaching legal, contractual, or confidentiality obligations.
In the event of a breach of this Code, the company may take appropriate measures, depending on the nature and seriousness of the breach. These measures may include a warning, disciplinary action, termination of cooperation, or other actions permitted by law and the relevant agreements.
7. Confidentiality and protection of information
Employees, collaborators, contractors, and partners who have access to confidential information are obliged to protect it and not to use or disclose it without authorization.
Confidential information may include:
- non-public information about the company's business;
- client or project data;
- technical documents;
- business strategies;
- development plans;
- financial information;
- contracts and agreements;
- credentials, codes, systems, or internal documentation;
- any other information that, by its nature or the circumstances, should be treated as confidential.
Confidential information must not be used for personal gain, for the benefit of third parties, or in a manner that could harm NMC Soft, its clients, suppliers, partners, or employees.
The obligation to maintain confidentiality continues even after the end of the employment, cooperation, or contractual relationship, for as long as the information remains confidential under the law or the relevant agreements.
8. Integrity in business
We seek business relationships based on trust, transparency, respect, and mutual accountability.
NMC Soft does not tolerate bribery, corruption, illegal payments, secret commissions, improper favors, or any other form of undue influence in business relationships.
Employees, collaborators, and partners must avoid any situation where personal, financial, or professional interests may conflict with the interests of NMC Soft or create the perception of a conflict of interest.
Any potential conflict of interest must be declared in a timely manner and handled transparently.
9. Relationships with clients
Our clients must be treated with respect, honesty, and professionalism.
We aim to provide quality services, clear communication, and solutions that respond to clients' real needs. We do not promise results that we cannot reasonably deliver and we do not create false expectations.
In every client relationship, we strive to:

- maintain a high professional standard;
- address problems openly and constructively.
10. Relationships with suppliers and partners
We work with suppliers and partners who share our commitment to ethical conduct, legality, integrity, and professional responsibility.
Our suppliers and partners are expected to:
- comply with applicable laws and regulations;
- provide safe and healthy working conditions;
- treat their employees with dignity and respect;
- not use forced labor, human trafficking, or child labor;
- not tolerate discrimination or harassment;
- respect fundamental labor and human rights standards;
- act transparently and honestly;
- avoid bribery, corruption, and conflicts of interest;
- manage their environmental impact responsibly.
Suppliers and partners may be evaluated not only on economic grounds, but also on their compliance with social, legal, ethical, and environmental standards.
11. Treating people with dignity and respect
We expect all employees, collaborators, partners, and suppliers to prioritize the safety, well-being, and dignity of people.
Every work environment should be free from:
- discrimination;
- harassment;
- violence;
- intimidation;
- exploitation;
- demeaning treatment;
- exclusionary or hostile behavior.
We support a work culture in which people are heard, respected, and valued for their professional contribution.
12. Working conditions and social standards
NMC Soft respects the rights of employees and promotes responsible labor practices.
We expect our partners and suppliers to meet or exceed the legal requirements for:
- working hours;
- compensation;
- working conditions;
- occupational safety and health;
- fair treatment of employees;
- the right to organize and be represented, where recognized by applicable law.
No form of forced labor, child labor, human trafficking, or exploitation is acceptable.
13. Environmental responsibility
We expect our partners and suppliers to act responsibly toward the environment and to strive to reduce the negative impact of their activities.
This includes, where applicable:
- responsible use of resources;
- reducing waste;
- complying with environmental regulations;
- applying sustainable practices;
- avoiding actions that harm the environment unnecessarily.
Although our activity is mainly in the field of technology and digital services, we consider environmental responsibility part of responsible corporate conduct.
14. Use of company resources
Company resources must be used responsibly, professionally, and only for lawful and authorized purposes.
These resources may include:
- work equipment;
- technology systems;
- software;
- internal documents and materials;
- accounts, access, and credentials;
- working time;
- confidential information;
- the company's intellectual property.
Any unauthorized, careless, or abusive use of company resources may constitute a breach of this Code.
15. Intellectual property
Employees, collaborators, and partners must respect the intellectual property of NMC Soft, its clients, suppliers, and third parties.
This includes respecting the rights over:
- software;
- source code;
- designs;
- documentation;
- trademarks;
- content;
- creative materials;
- work processes;
- know-how;
- technical solutions and methodologies.
Unauthorized copying, use, distribution, or modification of materials protected by intellectual property rights is not permitted.
16. Reporting violations
Every employee, collaborator, partner, or other party connected to NMC Soft is encouraged to report in good faith any potential breach of this Code, the law, or the company's ethical standards.
Reports may relate to:
- inappropriate behavior;
- discrimination or harassment;
- breaches of confidentiality;
- conflicts of interest;
- corruption or bribery;
- unauthorized use of resources;
- legal or contractual violations;
- any other behavior that undermines the principles of this Code.
NMC Soft handles reports seriously and, where possible, with reasonable confidentiality.
Retaliation against persons who report a concern or potential breach in good faith is not tolerated.
17. Responsibility for applying the Code
Everyone who acts on behalf of NMC Soft is responsible for knowing and complying with this Code.
Managers and persons with managerial responsibility have a particular duty to promote an ethical culture, lead by example, and ensure that issues raised are handled fairly and appropriately.
Lack of knowledge of this Code does not exempt anyone from responsibility for behavior that is inappropriate or incompatible with its principles.
18. Updates to the Code
NMC Soft may update this Code from time to time to reflect changes in law, business practices, the company's structure, or our internal standards.
The updated version will be published on our website or made available to the relevant persons in the manner the company considers appropriate.
